Summary:

Meta seeks an experienced, highly motivated attorney to serve as Director and Associate General Counsel on the Litigation team focused on securities matters. The position will be responsible for managing Meta’s securities litigation and dispute matters in the United States. This is a unique opportunity to work on novel issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

Director & Associate General Counsel, Litigation Responsibilities:

Drive strategy and execution on litigation and disputes in the United States and Canada, with a focus on securities matters.

Work cross-functionally with Meta teams on litigation strategy and related legal matters.

Oversee outside counsel relationships.

Advise the business with respect to securities-related litigation and disputes.

Team player who enjoys building relationships and working with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

JD with membership in at least one state bar.

12+ years of legal experience, with a significant portion focused on securities matters.

Extensive experience with securities matters, including books and records requests, litigation demands, derivative litigation and shareholder class actions.

Trial and appellate experience.

Demonstrated experience thinking strategically to solve legal challenges.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills and effective communicator.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in large technology companies.

Public Compensation:

$274,000/year to $352,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
