JOB DESCRIPTION Red Seat Ventures partners with top creators, brands, and media companies to develop unique, impactful digital properties. Read Seat Ventures is seeking a highly motivated social media specialist to oversee Facebook strategy across its portfolio of clients. As Facebook Specialist you will be responsible for identifying the strengths & weaknesses of each client's Facebook page, creating audience & revenue growth strategies, and work closely with key staff members to ensure the proper execution of action items. Our ideal candidate is a master of audience targeting, who understands how to reach a client’s ideal subscriber/follower and is adept at creating content that will resonate with that group of consumers. This role requires a highly detail-oriented, data-driven individual who can operate within a quick-paced environment, with a proven track record of experience and success. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement & oversee Facebook monetization strategy for a portfolio of large (1M+ Follower) pages across News, Politics and True Crime genres Incorporate video content produced for TV and YouTube into the Facebook strategy that helps drive new revenue Maintain expert knowledge of Facebook’s policies & best practices while building strong relationships with Facebook representatives. Assist relevant production teams with day-to-day Facebook content curation Set-up, manage, analyze and scale Facebook content campaigns that encourage greater audience participation & growth Continuously ideate, implement, and measure results of A/B testing for both creatives and campaign targeting to optimize for engagement/conversions Prepare and deliver regular performance reports identifying successes and opportunities for improvement Manage the execution of paid social campaigns & promotional campaigns WHAT YOU WILL NEED Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on multiple projects & campaigns simultaneously 3+ years’ experience managing Facebook pages for personalities or business A verifiable track record of successfully growing Facebook reach & revenue Experience using Adobe Photoshop & Premier or (equivalent platforms) The ability to edit video and create graphics for social media platforms A firm understanding of video copyright laws and Facebook’s terms of service Excellent proofreading skills An interest in current events, news, politics & True Crime content We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $75,000-85,000 annually for high cost labor markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $75,000-85,000 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
