Cake is currently seeking an on-site Human Resource Manager to join our growing organization. The ideal candidate will be able to plan, coordinate, and assess the various services, policies, and programs of Cake’s HR department. This includes, but not limited to, overseeing employee benefit programs, payroll, developing strategic planning for the department, onboarding new employees, and assisting with day-to-day tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Conduct onboarding and orientation for new employees
Act as a key member in identifying and managing training/development needs for employees
Manage/Coordinate payroll needs internally and with assigned vendors
Manage and develop HR policies and procedures
Assist with planning and managing recruitment and selection of staff
Manage company compensation and benefits ensuring plans are in accordance with company policies and legislations
Assist in annual salary reviews
Act as 401k administrator
Act as Benefits Administrator
Continuously review and update employee handbook
Conduct exit interviews with individuals separating from the organization along with appropriate leadership
Handle employees’ questions regarding benefits, payroll, and leave of absence
Handle employee complaints, grievances, and disputes
Maintain a strong knowledge of all legal requirements and government regulations pertaining to HR functions
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
3+ years of Human Resources experience
Previous Mortgage experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business management preferred
Hold any of the following HR certificates CPLP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as a team or independently and take on a variety of tasks
Knowledge of the principles and practices of HR management
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
Experience with Paychex preferred
