Our vision is to be a leading IT and Digital function in the energy sector, trusted by National Grid businesses. The Lead Cyber Security Officer/Analyst oversees the company's cyber security program, protecting IT infrastructure, devices, networks, and data according to the requirements of the Security Leadership Team and Business Unit CISOs.What you'll do

Provide security guidance and support to projects and programs.Collaborate with project teams and DevOps teams to ensure solutions meet security requirements and manage risks.Remove obstacles for successful delivery of security-related initiatives.Conduct regular risk assessments to identify cyber threats and vulnerabilities.Develop and implement strategies to mitigate cyber risks and enhance security posture.Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and trends and recommend relevant security controls.Maintain documentation and reporting on security-related activities.About you

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.5 or more years of related experience.Collaborate effectively with colleagues and suppliers in different time zones.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for making sound decisions under pressure.Foster positive work environment with teamwork and effective communication.Ability to influence, build relationships, and demonstrate team leadership skills in fast-paced, ambiguous, and autonomous professional service environment.What you'll get

A competitive salary between £60,000 – £80,000 – dependent on capability.As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
