Principal Contracts Administrator

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Principal Contracts Administrator, to support our team in El Segundo, CA.
Can be based out of El Segundo, CA (Los Angeles area) or Washington, DC area and must be able to travel to El Segundo, CA to attend meetings.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Administers assigned contracts to include but not limited to contract modifications, ensuring compliance with prime contract requirements, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations with existing or prospective clients
Recommends appropriate activities to resolve performance difficulties
Maintains contract administration data and internal management systems
Prepares contractual modifications and task orders and maintains status on contract actions.
Reviews, drafts, and negotiates pre-award related contractual agreements to include NDAs, TAs, and Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) and participates in preparation of OCI plans and helps develop mitigation strategies, as necessary.
Assists in proposal preparation and contract negotiations
Monitors company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations
Recommends appropriate activities to resolve performance difficulties
Prepares contracts for close-out
Responds to data calls
Coordinates with contracting officers, subcontracts administrators, program managers, auditors and other personnel for all matters pertaining to contract administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
US Citizenship required
BA | BS Degree preferred
5 years of contracts administration in a government contracting environment
3+ years of experience working with key stakeholders and program leadership to collaborate and solve issues
Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS
Experience managing a variety of contract types including CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, FFP-LOE, FFP
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Can work under pressure
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior management. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
