IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join their Contracts Division at the Corporate office in Huntsville, Alabama. Candidates for this position should possess a background in Contracts Administration a with strong interpersonal skills to support all aspects of the contract lifecycle for our Department of Defense contract activity. This position is located at IMS Corporate Office.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for contract review, negotiations, preparation and administration of contractual documents and customer interface.
Reviews, interprets, recommends and negotiations contractual terms and conditions and interprets established policies, procedures and standard practices to develop proactive plans to ensure contract activities achieve desired objective and timetables.
Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
As part of our Contracts Team, you will assist with proposal pricing in coordination with IMS leadership, Business Development, Procurement, Project Control (PC), and Accounting to include necessary company-wide support, ensuring our proposals are compliant and within internal procedures, as well as FAR, DFAR, SBA, DOL, and other government regulations
Willingness to engage with contract resources for help and to develop and share best practices
Prepare reports and analysis as required
Track, collect and submit contractual deliverables
Other duties as assigned
Education and General Experience:
A bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred with minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in the Federal Government Contracting Industry or advanced degree in lieu of experience may be accepted.
Candidate experience should include:
The selected candidate will be responsible for activities associated contract negotiations, pricing development, resolving issues, administering contract awards and modifications, and relationships from cradle-to-grave. A strong work ethic, the ability to work effectively with others and a healthy desire to acquire new skills are paramount in this position.
A successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, small business environment as a team player performing a variety of functions including administration, monitoring, and tracking all contract type activity (T&M, FFP, IDIQ, CPFF, etc.) as well as leading and/or assisting proposal pricing development
Three (3) years contract administration is required
Strong working knowledge of FARs, DFARs, and GSA regulations
The ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, manage time effectively and work independently to meet time sensitive deadlines.
Experience leading and/or assisting with the development of proposal pricing actions.
Strong negotiating skills and analytical problem solving.
Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy, an effective communicator, and should possess good interpersonal and presentation skills
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite of products with an emphasis on Excel and Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with EXPRESS and/or OASIS contracts is a plus
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance is required
Clearance Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required.
