Summary/Objective
Reporting to the Managing Partner of New Client Services, the Chief Growth Officer is responsible for assisting CWA to maintain sustained growth. As a multi-disciplinary problem solver, this role will act as a leader who can bridge the gap between various departments, from sales to marketing and finance, to create a cohesive strategy that moves the Firm forward.
Essential Functions
Focus on acquiring new clients while retaining existing ones through personalized experiences and programs like customer loyalty programs.
Maintain and strengthen key vendor relationships.
Bring an inquisitive mindset to clients' individual goals and challenges, providing strategic solutions with Cain Watters services.
Partner with Marketing in strategic initiatives to stay abreast of new industry trends and service lines.
Maintain a deep understanding of key vendors within the dental industry.
Lead Sales representatives, providing training, education, and motivation for the team’s success.
Follow potential leads, ensuring follow-through and accountability.
Drive the creation of new services that meet client needs and drive growth.
Use data to make informed decisions about investments, resources, and priorities to drive growth.
Manage team members.
Responsibilities & Duties
Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion.
Manage and motivate the team responsible for growth initiatives.
Develop and implement effective pricing and go-to-market strategies.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to support growth initiatives.
Understand and analyze small business financial statements and tax returns.
Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity.
Develop and manage the budget for growth initiatives.
Identify and implement technology and other tools to support growth efforts.
Provide regular reports and updates on growth performance to the Partners and other members of the executive team.
Serve as a key member of the executive team and contribute to the overall direction and strategy of the organization.
Commit to continuously learning key components of financial planning, basic tax laws for small businesses, and the business side of dentistry.
4-6 hours of daily scheduled phone calls converting leads to a close.

Education & Experience
Must obtain Series 65 within the 1st 6 months of employment.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA Preferred.
10+ years of leadership experience in Finance, Consulting, Business Development, or Sales.
Private Equity experience highly desired, private equity experience in the dental industry strongly preferred.
Strong business and marketing background, with experience leading teams, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Deep understanding of data analysis and technology, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical abilities – must maintain knowledge of small business financials and related challenges, ability to propose solutions.
Must have the ability to talk to doctors, quickly see their critical path, and sell them on advisory services.
Proven leader that has managed a team or sales team.
Excellent communication skills and public speaking experience required.
Travel
Travel is expected to be 15-20 nights a year during the first year of employment, with potential to increase to 30-40 nights a year thereafter.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. An in-office presence is required 3-5 days per week. Some flexibility in hours may be allowed based on management’s approval.

Compensation
Minimum: $160,000 - Maximum: $185,000 Base Salary, with the ability to earn additional incentive pay at management's discretion.
