The License and Contract Compliance Team (“LCC”) plays a pivotal role in protecting Microsoft’s Intellectual Property.

Responsibilities
Customer Engagement and Negotiation
:
The ability to quickly build relationships, establish trust, and effectively achieve compliance objectives alongside multiple competing priorities in a professional manner is key. Resolution of license or contractual compliance findings, identified through an independent review, requires candidate to have an outstanding understanding of software licensing and contract elements to be effective at communicating complex licensing and contractual elements for mutual understanding in a customer/partner friendly manner.
Professional Communication
and Engagement
:
Garner support of and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders through program education, delivering valuable data insights for planning and driving program engagement to meet target expectations. This would include working with Microsoft Legal Digital Crimes Unit (CELA DCU), Business Desk, Product Teams, and Professional Services Firms when necessary to achieve clarity throughout.
Project Management
:
Manage projects, including key milestones and risk, through the compliance verification lifecycle in a specific regional territory. Candidate will ensure advanced controls and best practices are being deployed in support of Microsoft’s business while achieving customer/partner compliance with contractual Terms & Conditions. Additionally, the candidate will be accountable for accurately maintaining CRM data for business reporting purposes.
Process Improvement Enablement:
Contribute to automation, process improvement efforts and new programs by adopting a “growth mindset” for participating and collaborating with globally diverse teams on strategic projects.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field AND 4+ years experience in finance or financial compliance
OR equivalent experience.

Reporting to the LCC Global Director, this role will be responsible for working with our Volume Licensing customers in North America.Itinvolves internal networking and influencing acrossSales, Marketing, Finance and Legal to identify candidates for Review, coordinate field work performed by Independent Firms, establish compliance gaps and determine the required remediation actions.

This role does require you to be onsite 2-3 days a week.
**
Travel Requirement: 0- 25%. Travel is mostly within region but with some international, with some flexibility in scheduling.
Finance Compliance IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
