The firm offers an engaging and supportive work environment, where professional development and legal community involvement are encouraged.LocationDutiesRepresent plaintiffs in complex litigation, including consumer protection class actions.Draft and file legal briefs, motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.Develop and manage discovery plans, including taking and defending depositions.Attend court hearings and argue motions when necessary.Prioritize tasks and manage a demanding caseload effectively.Identify potential cases through initial investigations and strategic case evaluation.Collaborate with team members while also taking initiative to work independently.Engage in legal strategy development and demonstrate deep understanding of complex legal issues.Requirements3-5 years of experience in consumer class actions (plaintiff or defense side).Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures.Demonstrated analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and independently.Strong work ethic, adaptability, and willingness to work nights or weekends if necessary.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsActive license to practice law in California (or eligibility for California Bar admission).SkillsLegal research and analysis skills.Strong written advocacy and motion practice experience.Excellent oral communication and courtroom presence.Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.Team-oriented with the ability to independently manage complex cases.Experience with consumer protection laws, class action procedure, and arbitration.
