Innovation is in our DNA.Summary:The Senior Strategy Analyst will be a key member of the Strategy & Planning team and assist in the development of Cosm’s overall strategy, including offering optimization, new market entry, growth strategy, performance assessment, and content deals.The ideal candidate is a highly dynamic individual who has a rigorous attention to detail. The role will contribute to strategic decision-making across multiple business functions. This candidate would join a lean Strategy team with high visibility across a fast-growing, ambitious organization. Rapid advancement possible for strong performers. This is a full-time position.Responsibilities:Analyze new business opportunities with limited financial and operational constraintsConduct strategic analysis on existing businesses to capture untapped growth potentialWork directly with senior leadership on deal teams to create financial models for critical partnership dealsTrack and analyze competitor financial and operational informationAssist in the development of future financing strategyCreate and present materials to brief senior leadership and board membersExperience:The ideal candidate has experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy/developmentThe ideal candidate also has experience in the media and / or technology industriesSeeking at least 2 years of experience in a financial or business analyst functionStart-up DNA: Willing to roll up sleeves, do foundational work and test new approachesComfortable with ambiguity – unhindered by change and uncertainty and can methodically work through complex problemsEager to collaborate with the Strategy & Planning team to solve tough problemsAbility to take a hypothesis-driven approach to big-picture analysis, think strategically, make data-driven insights, reach logical conclusions, and make compelling recommendationsConfident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsHigh impact presence—capable of quickly establishing credibility, influencing constituencies, and persuading professionals at all levels within the organizationStrong finance-based analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysesDeep interest and experience in immersive technology and contentStrong visual presentation skills to deliver communications that align the organization behind a common visionThe annualized base salary range for this position in California is $90,000-120,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.Cosm is an equal opportunity employer.
