The Chief of Staff to the CEO is a senior position responsible for managing the daily operations of Cosm’s CEO. This role is the CEO’s right hand, a key advisor, strong communicator, analytical and highly organized.Responsibilities:Manage the CEO's schedule and priorities, including meetings, appointments, and travel, in partnership with the CEO’s Executive Assistant.Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate and oversee special projects, initiatives, and strategic initiatives on behalf of the CEO.Travel frequently with the CEO to various locations across the U.S. and globe.Partner closely with the CEO and the senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth and operational excellence.Manage executive-level meetings, including agenda setting, presentation preparation, and follow-up.Provide strategic advice and guidance to the CEO on key business decisions, organizational priorities, and other areas as needed.Conduct research, prepare reports, and analyze data to support decision-making and drive organizational performance.Represent the CEO in various internal and external meetings, events, and engagements.Provide strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Demonstrate a high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism with sensitive and confidential information.Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or other related field. MBA strongly preferred.10+ years of professional level experience in a fast-growing technology, entertainment and/or other related industry.2+ Years as a Chief of Staff or similar position is highly preferred.Have a 24/7 mindset, aligned with our CEO to provide the level of partnership needed.Ability to travel frequently with little notice, as needed based on the CEO’s schedule.Willing to work in the Cosm LA office when not traveling, located in Playa Vista, CA.High EQ with the ability to read a room and present effectively to different audiences.Proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.Ability to make professional presentations, and represent Cosm on behalf of the CEO.Analytical and data driven. Strong excel skills with the ability to create and analyze data to provide strategic advice based on data.Ability to communicate directly, good or bad news, and have the ability to take direct feedback.Have a growth mindset, based on curiosity, learn quickly, problem solver, open minded and seek out feedback.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing multiple projectsThe annualized base salary range for this position in California is $165,000 to $225,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.Cosm is an equal opportunity employer.
