Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Project Controls Analyst to work in our Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) Project Controls department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Materials and Fuels Complex with every Friday off. Responsibilities Include: You will collaborate with project managers to coordinate the efforts on and perform project control activities from project creation through project execution. This includes development of project plans, estimates, costs, contracts, schedules, and resources. Assist project managers, Project Schedulers, and Project Engineers on defining project scope/requirements, observing capital asset compliance and principles, development of work breakdown structures (WBS), identification and mitigation of risks, submitting cost estimates and funding determinations, determining and implementing scope, schedule, and budget baselines, updating project status, monitoring variances, trending performance, contract management, and determining corrective actions. Collect, analyze, trend, forecast and report on project data, and cost from various sources (e.g. P6, SplashBI.), (Business Systems), COBRA) and team members (e.g. engineering, procurement, construction, or business management). Support the PMO Management System Lead (MSL) with internal surveillances if necessary to ensure EVMS requirements are met. Help maintain analysis, trending, forecasting, and reporting processes and storyboards that flow chart project controls and cost engineering work processes. Review and support the ongoing updates to EVMS metrics. Maintain, review, and revise baseline schedules and budgets consistent with established change control. Contribute to completion of milestones associated with specific work assignments. Help maintain the Performance Measurement and Performance Baseline Schedule, Life Cycle Schedules (LCS) and the Field Execution Schedule (FES). Ensure INL Managers are aware of previous, all changes to work that can/will change the outcome of the work.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Level 3 - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field and 5 years experience, Master's and 2 years of experience. PhD and 2 years of experience. Level 4 -Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field and 9 years of experience. Master's and 6 years of experience. PhD and 4 years of experience. Experience with project controls systems. Relevant experience commensurate with level. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

The ideal candidate will have the following: Advanced degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management or related field. Advance skills in EVMS. Advance knowledge and skill level in Primavera P6. Direct work experience on construction contracts. Experience with project controls and reporting systems in use at other DOE projects.

Job Information: The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($75,804 - $155,496) / Level 4 ($91,008 - $186,588). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
