This person will be part of a nimble, entrepreneurial team responsible for sourcing private fundraising engagements and executing private placements. The finance professional has established a broad network of private placement investors including public pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, PE sponsors, VC sponsors, corporations, family offices, and high net worth individuals. We are seeking a leader with a strong financial background who is organized, reliable, and capable of managing complex projects. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively collaborate with colleagues and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the private placements business for CastleOak, ensuring growth, profitability, and exceptional service to clientsDevelop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth and achieve business objectivesDevelop a business plan to increase private placements for the organizationLead the execution of private placement activitiesDevelop marketing materials including teasers and private placement memorandaIdentify and contact potential investorsCollaborate with colleagues to ensure successful completion of projectsCollaborate with other departments at CastleOak to drive cross-selling opportunitiesEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and lawsManage and provide guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to junior team membersMaintain a strong network of industry contacts and partnershipsReport regularly to senior management on the performance of the private placements business and provide strategic recommendationsRequired QualificationsStrong analytical, financial modeling, writing, and presentation skills7+ years of private placements deal experienceStrong industry relationships and substantial transaction experienceGenuine commitment to teamworkProven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple simultaneous projectsExcellent listening, market positioning, and marketing skillsStrong marketing and presentation skillsAbility to supervise vice presidents, associates, and analystsOutstanding achievement in academics, employment, and personal endeavorsAbility to thrive in an entrepreneurial, roll up your sleeves, results-driven environmentExceptional ethics, accountability, and integritySeries 79 and 63 licensesBachelor’s degreePreferred QualificationsExisting mandates listLocation:
