Jr. Microsoft Power Apps Analyst

The Microsoft Services team at one of our largest State clients is participating in Brooksource’s Elevate Program, where they are actively seeking a Jr. Microsoft Power Apps Developer to join their growing team. The Elevate Program provides exposure to enterprise-wide projects at a Fortune 100 company, with significant growth potential.This team is expanding its digital transformation efforts and is looking for a Junior IT Professional to work with Microsoft Power Apps and Dynamics 365, creating custom business solutions and applications for the organization. As a Jr. Power Apps Analyst, you will work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, data integration, and app development for business process automation. If you are highly motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about building solutions in Microsoft Power Platform, we encourage you to apply!Desired Skills & Experience:* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.* Experience:* 0-2 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Apps or similar low-code development platforms (e.g., AppSheet, Mendix).* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) is a plus.* Experience with Power Automate or integration of apps with data sources is an advantage.* Basic understanding of databases, data queries (SQL), and Excel.
Technical Skills:* Familiarity with or interest in learning Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).* Exposure to web technologies (HTML, JavaScript) is a plus.* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.* Experience with cloud services (Azure, Office 365) is a plus.Key Responsibilities:Power Apps Configuration* Assist in the development and configuration of Microsoft Power Apps to create solutions for business process automation and efficiency.* Work with end users to gather requirements and deliver user-friendly apps that meet business needs.* Customize pre-built Power Apps templates to fit organizational requirements.
Power Automate & Data Integration:* Support the integration of Power Apps with other Microsoft services, including Power Automate, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365.* Help automate workflows and processes across the business using Power Automate and other Microsoft tools.* Work with SQL, Excel, or other data sources to ensure seamless data flow within Power Apps.
Testing & Deployment:* Assist in testing new apps and workflows to ensure functionality and stability.* Work on the deployment and maintenance of Power Apps applications, ensuring they remain secure and up to date.
Collaboration & Documentation:* Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and refine app features.* Help document app processes, workflow automations, and best practices.* Assist in troubleshooting issues and resolving user feedback related to Power Apps solutions.
