Job Title: Mid-Level Corporate Associate AttorneyJob Location: Santa Monica, CAJob Overview:A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled mid-level corporate associate attorney to join its dynamic Capital Markets and Public Companies team. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in advising public companies or investment banks, particularly in SEC compliance, corporate governance, and capital markets transactions. Experience working with technology or life sciences companies is preferred. The ideal candidate will be based in California and must be licensed to practice law in the state.Duties:Provide expert legal counsel to public companies and investment banks on SEC compliance, governance, and disclosure requirements.Represent issuers or investment banks in capital market transactions such as IPOs, SPACs, direct listings, and follow-on offerings.Advise clients on matters related to corporate governance and regulatory compliance.Collaborate with internal teams to navigate complex legal challenges, ensuring optimal solutions for clients.Engage with a diverse client base, including technology and life sciences companies at various stages of development.Requirements:At least three (3) years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on public companies and capital markets.Proven track record in advising clients on SEC regulations, governance matters, and capital market transactions.Experience with technology or life sciences companies is a plus.Active Bar membership in California.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Strong academic credentials.Certifications:Must be admitted to the California Bar.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Excellent interpersonal skills and client-focused approach.Job Location:
