Job Summary:
This is a position with the system and application engineering team. Responsible for the support and development of analog IC and module products for USB charging, wireless charging, and PoE products. Job duty includes competition analysis, simulation and bench verification for new products, author design guidelines, application notes, provide reference designs, technical support to customers and conduct market survey.
Essential Functions:
Work with customers on system designs with existing products or to develop new products.
Work with TMEs, IC designers to develop, evaluate, and debug new products.
Provide application support and technical training for key customers and field application engineers.
Write datasheets, application notes, design notes.
Survey and monitor the new market requirement, track key customer project status.
Qualifications:
BS or MS in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
5+ years hands-on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing.
Familiar with Buck, Boost, Buck-boost, flyback, forward converter topology and I2C interface.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
Familiarity with USB-PD, WPT Qi, and IEEE 802.3 standards are highly desirable.
Experience with EMI/EMC testing and debug is preferred.
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
Education:
BSEE or higher.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $150,000- $180,000.
