Salary: $126,786 - $181,144

YOUR ROLE Accountable for managing all aspects of a high-volume supply chain logistics operation to ensure consistent high level service quality and customer satisfaction, profitable, cost efficient operations and compliance with company policies and procedures, ISO standards, Sarbanes Oxley requirements and other regulatory guidelines. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Coordinate and provide direction for customer service efforts from all station departments. Ensure ongoing customer service and maintain customer relations through focusing on the contract's daily operations based on customer’s needs. Daily communications with the customer to discuss service needs and potential problems.

Responsible for attainment of profit objectives of contracts, provide financial analysis and decision making for customer.

Responsible for the organic growth and development of additional business opportunities with existing customers.

Ensure safety, maintain quality, establish and monitor cost control programs.

Lead and foster creative problem solving, develop positive and professional relationships with customer and within contracts.

Work with government departments, social groups, etc.

Provide leadership in coaching, mentoring, personnel selection, professional development.

Oversee operations management within the company guidelines.

Oversee operations schedule and staff in anticipation of customer needs. Oversee the staffing needs of contract to assure sufficient labor to meet the customer's requirements and control costs.

Provide support and guidance to hiring manager.

Manage the contract staff to assure continued quality service by writing procedures, testing hiring and training managerial and operational personnel.

Maintain corporate productivity and quality award programs to recognize outstanding performance.

Encourage use of Performance Management system in all facets of the operation. Maintain the contracts quality performance objectives through the continuous improvement processes.

Train managers and other personnel strategically in all areas that will help them achieve the contract goals and objectives and satisfy the customer.

Establish ongoing programs to ensure continuous improvement. This includes the use of Kaizen, LEAN, and the EQS program to maintain quality performance.

Motivate the workforce through Performance Management program; encourage input from employees through Employee Involvement Groups; and reward for continuous performance using award programs.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

Experience driving revenue growth, retaining customers, and managing profitability of multiple sites.

In depth, experience based knowledge of managing revenue, budgets, EBITDA, operations problem solving, customer service and managing people.

PC literate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, as well as web based specific software applications supporting the supply chain or transportation industry as well as financial applications.

Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.

Exceptional written and communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.

Experienced in project management methodologies with focus on managing solution driven strategy plans to achieve goals.

Minimum Requirements:

High School degree or GED.

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, 3PL or Transportation.

Minimum 10 years relevant experience.

Expertise in operations and business management.

Experienced in providing leadership for multiple sites that are geographically dispersed, effectively delegating responsibility and authority to direct reports.
