Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Classification Management Officer 3 CMO 3 provides comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with Executive Orders, National Security guidelines and ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System
Perform detailed analysis and quick issue resolution
Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge
Provide CM recommendations to senior customer leadership
Generate, track, coordinate and respond to action items in a timely manner
Conduct classification reviews
Identify and assess sources for classification determinations
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 8 or more years of experience or Associates and 12 or more years of experience or Masters and 5 or more years of experience
Ability to handle complex security classification issues
Able to perform classification reviews
Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena
Thorough understanding of Executive Order 13526 and it’s implementing directive
Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance
Excellent writing, communication and research skills a must
Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customer
Security Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
