Job Scope The Senior Product Manager, Upstream Portfolio Marketing (SPM) will drive growth and product lifecycle management for the Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) portfolio. This role involves market research to inform prioritization and strategy, collaborating with R&D, Business Development, Sales, Operations, and Finance to align the portfolio with company goals. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, engaging in Voice of Customer (VOC) activities, analyzing the competitive landscape, and identifying customer needs to create a comprehensive portfolio strategy. The SPM will work on business and financial planning, new product forecasts, and customer segmentation. They will also support marketing activities for product introductions and manage key opinion leaders and design surgeons while tracking performance indicators to refine portfolio efforts. Responsibilities Evaluate market opportunities, build business cases, and guide product lifecycle processes, including forecasting and transitions. Serve as marketing steward throughout New Product Introduction (NPI) development process. Align pricing strategies with new product introductions in collaboration with Commercial Excellence and Sales. Provide market analysis to inform trends and segmentation for tactical adjustments. Engage with customers to develop relationships, collect VOC insights, and maximize exposure through workshops and conferences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on portfolio goals and effective marketing initiatives. Qualifications BA/BS in engineering, marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in marketing, engineering, or sales; 3+ years in medical devices, preferably in CMF or Neurosurgery. Experience in product portfolio management and new product development. Strong project planning, analysis, financial modeling, and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams. Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leaders. Experience working effectively across geographic and cultural boundaries. Proven ability to convert market insights into strategic plans. Knowledge of the competitive landscape and ability to develop portfolios aligned with business goals. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
