Job Summary The Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing, plays a pivotal role in defining, implementing, and driving global product marketing strategies for Cynosure Lutronic’s portfolio of energy-based devices in the medical aesthetics space. This leader shapes the strategic direction and product roadmap (including segmentation, value proposition development, competitive positioning, pricing, claims, etc.), leading to excellence in product launches and lifecycle management across B2B (Dermatology, Plastic Surgery) and B2C (Aesthetic Procedure Consumers). They will bridge upstream innovation and downstream execution, shaping a culture of collaboration with regional and functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer and consumer insights, and organizational growth plans. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketer with a strategic mindset, a strong ability to analyze market trends, and a proven track record in cross-functional leadership. They bring expertise in upstream innovation, market research, end-to-end product management, and go-to-market (GTM) planning, contributing to the company’s position as an industry leader. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs. Upstream Innovation and Lifecycle Management Drive global product innovation by identifying unmet market needs through comprehensive market research, voice-of-customer (VOC) initiatives, and competitive analysis. Develop comprehensive marketing plans including value proposition, messaging, key claims, customer segmentation and targeting, pricing and evidence-based strategy. Collaborate with R&D, clinical, and regulatory teams to guide new product development and ensure alignment with market requirements. Develop and present compelling business cases to support investment in new product initiatives. Manage the lifecycle of a product and act as single-point-of-contact for the product throughout its lifespan. Partner with regional marketing teams to co-create GTM strategies, including target segments, value propositions, and positioning frameworks. Facilitate alignment between global and regional teams to ensure buy-in and seamless transition of strategic ownership for execution. Provide strategic input to regional teams for pricing models, claims development, and messaging. Market Insights and Analytics Create business cases for new market and concept ideas that include strategic fit, market sizing & financial modeling, high level unmet clinical needs definition, competitive landscape, commercial implications, and go or no-go recommendations. Establish frameworks for capturing market insights and incorporating them into product development and strategy refinement. Ensure competitive intelligence is continuously monitored and integrated into strategic decision-making. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership Serve as the strategic liaison between R&D, clinical, and regulatory functions, ensuring alignment throughout the product development process. Act as the upstream marketing lead within product development teams, ensuring that products meet clinical, regulatory, and commercial requirements. Build strong partnerships with regional marketing teams, fostering collaboration to adapt global strategies to local market needs. Thought Leadership and KOL Engagement Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), advisory boards, and industry societies to collect Voice of Customer (VOC), and strengthen product validation and influence. Represent the company at global conferences and industry events, gathering insights and advocating for the company’s innovation roadmap. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in technology, Business, Marketing, or a related field MBA preferred Experience 7+ years of experience in upstream marketing or product management within energy-based technologies, medical aesthetics (preferred) or healthcare industry. Demonstrated success in driving global product innovation and strategy development. Experience collaborating with cross-functional and regional teams in a global organization. Skills Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a proven ability to synthesize market data into actionable insights. Problem-solver with a proactive approach, exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust and alignment across functions and geographies. Expertise in product lifecycle management, from concept development to market strategy handoff and eventually product sunsetting. Adept at creating and presenting impactful, executive-level business cases and strategic frameworks. Comfortable in international environments with appreciation for diversity of thought. Knowledge of global regulatory environments (e.g., FDA, CE) and their implications on product strategy. Fluency in English, other languages are a plus.
