As a Sales Executive, you'll play a crucial role in fostering customer relationships and driving sales in your assigned territory.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong customer relationships within a team-based selling environment.Oversee delivery processes, manage routing schedules, and troubleshoot any issues related to order fulfillment.Communicate and collaborate with the credit department to manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of balances due.Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and participation in industry organizations.Stay informed on market trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights to customers.Travel to visit current and prospective clients, ensuring timely product delivery and meeting their needs.Relationships:Internal: Collaborate with District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit Department, Merchandising and Marketing Teams, Operations, and Customer Contact.External: Engage with customers, vendors, and potential clients.Work Environment:Work primarily in the field, visiting customers regardless of weather conditions.Qualifications:1+ year of sales experience preferred.Previous experience in foodservice, culinary, or hospitality environments is a plus.Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent presentation abilities.Proven track record of building relationships and developing new business through cold calling.Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.Driven by results with a competitive spirit and problem-solving mindset.Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with internal and external partners.Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM tools like Salesforce is preferred.Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Licenses:A valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record are mandatory.Physical Requirements:Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, and driving frequently.Compensation for this position ranges from $61,500 to $92,300, based on experience and qualifications.
