The candidate must have a strong background in electrical troubleshooting, be able to work on mechanical systems (including pneumatic and hydraulic systems). The candidate must have basic computer skills, have a good work ethic, and be safety minded with the ability to work in a group environment or independently.The preferred candidate will have knowledge of troubleshooting PLCs and a functional understanding of bulk material transport equipment to include loaders, hoppers, and vacuum system.A basic understanding of Continuous Improvement and Plastic Extrusion is a plus.Starting pay: $24+8-hour, 1st shift 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm; 3rd shift - 11pm-7am (potentially flexible hours, OT may be required)Healthcare Benefits available on Day ONE! Employees are paid weekly.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost, and production requirements with minimal supervisionPerform troubleshooting and calibrationPerform preventative maintenance inspections and corrective maintenance on equipmentInstall new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment as neededPrepare written and verbal reports/recommendationsAssist other maintenance team members as required in support of plant goals

Qualifications

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Industrial Electronics or related fieldExperience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systemsSome experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (troubleshooting only, not design)Strong electrical backgroundTeamwork and interpersonal skillsSafety conscious mindsetExperience using a computer (CMMS, Microsoft Office)Ability to drive a forkliftWelding and fabrication preferred

Ability to stand for prolonged periods of timeAbility to frequently lift up to 40lbsAbility to constantly work in a non-conditioned environmentAbility to frequently ascend/descend a ladders/stair as required to repair equipment
