Apple Bank's Asset & Liability (ALM) management function is closely integrated with financial and risk management, preparing bank wide financial forecasts and reporting that cover the full scope of its operations, in conjunction with the CFO, CEO, and CRO (Chief Risk Officer).
We are seeking to hire a Junior Analyst that will primarily be responsible for supporting ALM reporting and analyses covering Interest Rate Risk (IRR), liquidity projections and liquidity stress testing, market risk reporting and analyses, and capital stress testing scenario analyses.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSupport interest rate risk analysis, liquidity projections, and reporting.Maintain spreadsheet model projections in support of ALM assumptions.Maintain policies and assumptions documentation, as well as reporting package presentations to support the asset & liability management process presented to the Asset & Liability Committee.Maintain, document, and update asset and liability models to support these functions.Collect historical information to compare model results to actual results for Net Interest Income (NII) to support back testing analysis of model financial projections versus actual.Reconcile source data files and cash flow amortization files and ALM model outputs.Perform other duties as requested.SKILLS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.0+ years of equivalent experience.Preference for knowledge of bank products and asset and liability practices in banking.Strong computer technical skills.Strong communication skills (verbal + written).Ability to work both independently as well as on a team.Organizational skills, a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and leadership potential.Ability to prepare deliverables for meetings while exhibiting professionalism, maturity, and insight throughout interactions.Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.Innovative and creative problem-solving ability.Intellectual curiosity, cooperation and focus in achieving group and client objectives.Visa sponsorship not available.We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, military and/or veteran status, or any other Federal or State legally-protected classes.
