Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Salesforce Service Cloud Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in the USA. Our client is an American multinational company that operates, franchises, and licenses lodging, including hotel, residential, and timeshare properties. It’s also the largest hotel chain in the world in terms of the number of available rooms. The company is based in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, and encompasses a portfolio of nearly 8,300 properties under 30 leading brands spanning 138 countries and territories.The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer with a proven track record of implementing Salesforce Service Cloud and integrating them into large enterprise solutions. This engineer will serve as a service delivery and sales subject matter expert, contributing to technical design, development, and testing while collaborating with various partners and service providers.Requirements:
6+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Salesforce administration and development, security, standard objects, and reports/dashboards. Knowledge of data management and sandbox environments.At least 3-5 years of experience in consuming web services.At least 1-2 years of experience with Lightning framework (Aura, LWC).Strong understanding of lightning flows and trigger framework.Expertise in programming languages and methodologies (e.g., Java and Apex).Expertise in integrating Salesforce with other applications using connected apps and APIs.Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, and others).Strong understanding of Lightning Flows and Trigger Framework.Expertise in programming languages and methodologies (e.g., Java and Apex).Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience and/or certification.An unbridled curiosity and interest in problem-solving and iterative development.Experience in the development of hotel property applications.Experience with Leadership in a sourced environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.Ability to work in an enterprise Agile/transitioning development environment.Feel comfortable asking questions or adverse to be asked questions; willing to share experiences and explain alternative solutions.Ability to work independently or on a team.Responsibilities:
Lead ongoing support for new and existing Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud platforms.Leverage Salesforce service expertise to act as a Technical Architect and hands-on Salesforce Engineer.Deliver technical solutions focusing on security, authentication, scalability, and performance.Serve as lead Salesforce developer, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards and coaching and mentoring team members.Review and approve design documents, code reviews, test plans, and deployment plans.Make informed decisions on architectural design, considering tradeoffs, benefits, and recommendations.Provide consultation for routine and complex systems development.Coordinates with operations and infrastructure delivery teams for deployment and production support activities.Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to understand and translate requirements into solutions.We offer:
