Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.HDR is looking for a Project Manager to join our Water Business Group in either Charlotte, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, or Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' progressive experience leading design teams to implement water treatment and/or wastewater treatment projects through the planning, design, permitting and construction phases. They will perform client development and management activities to support our North Carolina Water Business Group team. They will need to be skilled in studies, contributing to multiple design teams, coordinating with sub-consultants and utility client staff. This individual will also be expected to:Function as a Project Manager, and be responsible for executing projects and managing and developing multidiscipline teams utilizing HDR's business systems and project management tools.Build team technical expertise and design production capacity through recruitment, staff development and training.Lead and mentor younger staff.Participate in leadership for technical service functions and support the development of HDR services in utility planning, asset management, and water/wastewater facilities planning and design.Some regional/national travel will be expected.
Preferred Qualifications10 years related or equivalent experience including project management experienceMaster's degree or equivalentPMPLocal candidates are preferred*LI-SM1
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering7 years related experienceA minimum 2 years project management experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseMS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)Demonstrated leadership skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
