Based in Texas or Florida, the SEM/SEO Lead will collaborate with the marketing team, onsite teams, and regional leadership to create customized targeted marketing strategies and brand development across digital channels for properties within your assigned portfolio. You will partner with internal and external groups to implement a strategic marketing plan that aligns with community and portfolio goals.
As a Marketing Manager overseeing SEM/SEO strategy, your role encompasses the strategic direction and management of our portfolio's marketing efforts. You'll lead and oversee the planning, implementation, and execution of various paid media marketing products, spanning search, display, geofencing, and social media advertising. You will serve as the primary point of contact for managing SEO and SEM vendors, responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of all paid efforts. Key aspects of your role involve defining campaign objectives, standardizing setup and reporting processes, and continuously enhancing our operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Collaboration with our vendors will be essential to fine-tune our campaigns and strategies, maximizing results and aligning with our marketing objectives.
In this role, your proficiency in data analytics and reporting will be vital for evaluating key performance indicators and metrics tied to paid efforts - such as conversions, impressions, click-through rates, cost-per-click, and overall ROI; using attribution data, to establish cost per lead and cost per lease metrics to make decisions related to marketing strategies.
What you'll do:
Collaborate with others to plan, design, and implement scalable SEO and SEM programs for our portfolio. This entails refining our current programs but could include building an improved SEO/SEM strategy.
Responsible for tracking the success of marketing campaigns and reporting on key metrics as well as making recommendations to PMs and RMs by monitoring the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Provide support to onsite teams with day-to-day marketing needs.
Order placement: Onboarding and offboarding.
Backend setup and testing.
Monthly calls with vendor.
Conversion, tracking, and reporting optimization.
Potential to manage both US based and offshore team members.
What you bring:
3-5 years experience in digital marketing and brand development.
Strong preference for marketing experience in the multifamily property management industry.
Demonstrated methods to self-develop capabilities using industry trends and tools.
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited university required.
Experience with Google’s toolkit, PPC, SEO, Programmatic Advertising, Social Media Tactics, SEMRush, and Looker.
