Stress Care of New Jersey, LLC is a Behavioral Health and Addiction Treatment Center licensed by the State of NJ and accredited by The Joint Commission. At Stress Care, we provide a full range of Outpatient Services, including Psychiatric Evaluations, Medication Management, Traditional Therapy, Group Therapy, Intensive Outpatient Programs, and Partial Care. We work with adults and adolescents and our integrated treatment team consists of Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Social Workers, Counselors, Peer Professionals, and other allied team members.

Stress Care of New Jersey is looking for a

Human Resources Director

who knows the importance of creating and maintaining an environment where people can bring their best selves to work, a dedicated leader who is willing to have difficult conversations when needed, and a compassionate listener who understands that our people are our most important asset. Our Human Resource Manager will be a critical part of the Stress Care of NJ leadership team and will help develop and deploy strategies that contribute to our growth.

In this role, you will:

Demonstrates the highest level of integrity and confidentiality. Maintains personal employee information including but not limited to medical, pay, demographic, discipline, schedule preferences, accommodation requests, family matters, in the strictest confidence. Protects agency confidential information.

Maintains current working knowledge of agency policies and procedures, pay practices, employee benefits, employment laws (i.e. ADA, FMLA, FLSA), HIPAA and communicates regularly with employees to promote understanding and utilization.

Coordinates agency applicant flow processes from recruitment through selection. Coordinates all agency hiring needs with senior leadership.

Conducts initial interviews of job applicants.

Manages and participates in new hire and orientation programs.

Administers the benefits and compensation programs at the agency.

Ensures all information is disseminated, collected and processed according to deadlines.

Conducts Basic Computer Training as well as CareLogic Training (equipment, login, email, and system navigation) for all new employees. Provides additional support to employees to ease the transition to the automated work environment.

Establishes and monitors performance evaluation programs (including 90 day and annual reviews) for all employees. Counsels managers and supervisors proactively for effective performance management techniques to improve employee retention and productivity.

Investigates causes of employee disputes and grievances and recommends corrective action.

Creates and maintains individual personnel files/records as well as agency employee-related files/records including Benefit Accruals, Licensure/Certification/Education, OSHA, Workers' Compensation, Unemployment Claims, and Employee Health/Medical Records (i.e. Drug Testing, CPR, PPD, Physicals, Measles, and Rubella) according to policy and legal standards. Ensures the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the information.

Coordinates agency programs, e.g. Safety, Workers' Compensation, Employee Recognition, Employee Communications, and Special Events.

Supports agency change initiatives/projects. Participates in the delivery of training programs.

Fairly and consistently ensures compliance with Stress Care policies and procedures.

Success for the

Human Resources Director

is measured in terms of employee recruitment, satisfaction, development, retention, and achievement of established goals and performance indicators.

The ideal candidate has:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Human Resource Management, Master's degree preferred.

5 years previous work experience of HR Management in Healthcare.

Experience using computer and MS Systems to support work activities.

Works flexible hours in order to meet with employees who work evening hours.

Excellent communication (written; spoken) skills; organizational skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, decision-making skills, and time management skills.

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Three day shifts 9am-5pm, two evening shifts 11am-7pm
