Your Role

We are looking for you to strengthen our firmware team as a senior to expert-level software engineer, with a focus on developing firmware for our smart radar systems and satellite radar.

The core elements of your work include:

Designing, creating, and modeling the software architecture for Zendar’s automotive radar prototype platformDeveloping individual firmware components from concept to coding and testingIntegrating and optimizing signal processing components into the overall sensor softwareCollaborating with semiconductor manufacturers, automotive industry partners, and customers to drive and optimize Zendar-specific technologiesConducting error analysis, debugging, and continuously improving the firmwareDeveloping test strategies and conducting tests to ensure high system quality

What We Look For

Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on embedded software engineeringExtensive experience in software development for (automotive) radar systemsExtensive experience in programming with C/C++ in resource-constrained microcontrollers, on RTOS or embedded Linux style platformsExperience in development on ARM Cortex-M processorsAbility to work independently as well as strong communication and cross-departmental collaboration skillsExcellent English skills, both written and spoken

Bonus Points

Experience in development on BBE32 Vector DSPsExperience in series development of automotive components or systemsExperience in radar signal processing and its mapping on HW acceleratorsGerman language skills
