We are thrilled to be partnering with a rapidly expanding Accounting/Business management firm on their search for a highly qualified Account Manager to join their Sherman Oaks, CA team. Our client is a well established firm with offices in New York, New Jersey, California, and India with a niche in high-net-worth clients, of which a large percentage are in the entertainment industry. Who you are: You have at least two years' experience in bookkeeping. You have a high level of organization and ability to manage deadlines. Responsibilities: Record and manage transactions within the accounting system. Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. Conduct daily accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) tasks. Complete bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Reconcile investment accounts and general ledger accounts. Generate profit and loss statements that outline monthly income and expenses. Analyze financial performance, comparing actual income and expenses to budget projections. Oversee payroll administration processes. Follow up with production companies on outstanding fees. Coordinate with banks, credit card companies, auto leasing firms, service providers, and other vendors to resolve account issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Qualifications: Prefer B.A. or B.S. in Accounting or related field of study 2 years experience in bookkeeping (working with high profile and/or high net worth individuals highly preferred. High level of organization and ability to manage deadlines, High level of knowledge of AgilLink/Datafaction-QuickBooks a plus) Proficient in Microsoft Office
