This position will be based within this territory: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Responsible for understanding and developing assigned territory to maximize revenue and profits. Provides sales and application solutions to existing customers and responsible for acquiring new business. Bachelors degree and 5 years of related experience. This position will be based within this territory: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Idaho. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports company revenue and profit targets. Optimize business development plan by working closely with Industry Segment Manager to maximize overall sales efficiency. Develop, prequalify, and follow up leads. Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to meet needs. Continuously expand customer understanding and use Ensinger product solutions and capabilities. Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers. Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to customers needs. Develop new and current, commercial, OEM and institutional accounts. Train distributor personnel to sell and promote Ensinger products and create demand for product offering. Conduct formal sales presentations to various groups, distributors and end-users. Open line of communication with customers, distributors and end-users while building strong relationships. Serve as a customer information center for technical questions, have an understanding of drawings and cross-reference information. Work effectively with internal support departments (Customer Service, Marketing, Professional Services and Product Development) to promote sales for new and existing customers to maximize Ensingers visibility. Complete sales activity reports and presentations in a timely manner. Actively participate in Ensingers continuous improvement program. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: BS degree, preferably in Business or Engineering or other applicable field. Minimum of 5 years engineering plastic sales experience in manufacturing or distribution, preferred. Demonstrated sales track record, new sales track record and quota attainment. Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development. Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory (30%-60%). Ability to work effectively in home-based environment. Strong planning and organizational skills. Demonstrated effective communication skills, oral and written. Able to embrace emerging technology. Working knowledge of various computer software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and others.
