Lonza AG provides an outstanding opportunity to lead financial excellence in our ambitious and innovative environment. The Director of Finance for our Portsmouth Cell Therapy (LPO-CT) site is a crucial role, partnering with the LPO-CT Site Leadership Team and the CGT BU. This position plays a key role in helping the site leadership team achieve their targets through insightful analysis and financial recommendations.
Key responsibilities:
Provide insightful analysis and recommendations in financial aspects such as cost transparency, product profitability, key performance indicators in production, innovation, cost savings, planning cycles, and net working capital.Manage monthly financial closing, forecast, and risk and opportunity process in collaboration with Division Controlling and Corporate FP&A, covering revenue to EBITDA, free cash flow, balance sheet, and NWC.Collaborate in developing a 5-year plan for both sites, with a focus on sales growth, cost savings/innovation, and investment planning.Lead the annual budgeting process with plant leadership to meet corporate targets and deadlines.Conduct return-on-investment analysis for various CAPEX projects.Lead process and systems improvement projects, including SAP enhancements and new process and tool introductions, in collaboration with local and global supply chain group, corporate accounting, and global operations.Act as the single point of contact towards the Shared Service Center and external auditors regarding accounting, internal controls, and audit questions.Provide organizational management for direct report(s).Key requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Finance or a related field.10+ years of proven experience in a finance role, preferably within the life sciences or manufacturing sector.Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and implement central initiatives.Outstanding analytical skills, demonstrating a meticulous attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative and inclusive environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with financial systems and tools, with a preference for SAP.Proficiency in efficiently handling various tasks and adapting to a constantly changing work setting.
