Purpose

:

The BSA/AML Alert Analyst is primarily responsible for investigating various alerts (e.g., transaction monitoring, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Currency Transaction Reports (CTR)) utilizing various software systems to determine if the alerted activity is unusual, and subsequently escalating or clearing the alert as appropriate.

Essential Functions

:Reviews transaction monitoring alerts for unusual activity utilizing various systems, and recommends the alerts be escalated to case or clearedEnsures all processes are followed for Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) filingPerforms daily Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) ProcessingAssists in the Customer Due Diligence oversight process which includes review of reporting metrics and working with Retail Branches to address and resolve outstanding items.Assists in preparation of documentation for audits and examinations.Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.Job Related Qualifications
