Position Summary:
Reporting to the LMS Manager, the Specialist provides support in Canvas, Zoom, and other academic technologies at Yeshiva University. The position is remote and works on Eastern Standard Time [New York]. The preferred schedule is Sunday - Thursday.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as primary resolution resource for Canvas LMS systemProvide excellent customer service through the resolution of help desk ticketsAdminister technical support for Zoom, Canvas, and other technology projects as assignedTroubleshoot technical challengesWork with faculty at all levels of technical competenceDevelop and deliver training materials such as best practices for Canvas to facultyContinuous learning Canvas-related education technologiesExperience & Educational Background:
High School Degree or GEDExperience supporting Canvas at the university levelDemonstrated knowledge of online learning and related applicationsUnderstanding of FERPA and other regulations applicable to higher educationSkills & Competencies:
Self-driven and able to work autonomouslyExcellent customer support and time management skillsInterest in academic technologyProfessionalism and high attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Suite
Salary Range:
$27.50 - $33.00 per hour
