Neuro tele (APC 1/7B) RN with 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS required. Candidates need to be aware of their submission to our facility and are not to contact facility directly. Candidates should have an active NM or compact license, and time off requests must be included with initial submission and approved at that time. Time off requested after acceptance date will not be approved. Minimum of two years experience required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. At least one 13-week travel assignment must have been completed successfully.Job Requirements
Two references required, one from current manager. A resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment must be provided. Minimum of 2 years experience on telemetry/neuro unit.Schedule Information
12-hour night shift position which may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs including on call, weekends, and holidays. Required to float within facility and alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location when needed.Unit Specific Information
Orientation includes basic cardiac arrhythmia (BCA) testing during the first week of the assignment. Travelers must pass the BCA test or will be dismissed.Additional Details
No holiday time-off requests will be approved for travelers. Traveler must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked to be considered. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. State tax will be reflected on your invoice and should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
