PCU RN75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS -Candidates should be aware of their submission to our facility.Candidates with an active NM or compact license preferred.Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval.Candidates must include at least two references (one from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.2 years experience in an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit is required.Must be accustomed to a fast-paced environment.Must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.Willingness to float to med/surg, ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU, and ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.Job Requirements
Active NM or compact nursing license required.2 years experience required in a telemetry/neuro unit.Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.EPIC EMR experience preferred.Must pass a Dysrhythmia exam during the first week of assignment; failure to pass will result in dismissal.Schedule Information
12-hour night shift position.Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.On-call, weekends, and holidays may be required.Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.Unit Specific Information
May be required to float to different units within the facility and its nearby locations.Traveling pairs are not guaranteed the same schedules or shifts.Additional Details
NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.Ensure that accurate SS# and DOB are entered to avoid onboarding issues.
