FSH Network Administrator PRN

This position is accountable for installing, upgrading, configuring, performing system administration and supporting all FSH IT Services facilities data/voice hardware and software systems, including network infrastructure.
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Microsoft/Cisco certification(s) a plus
Avaya telecommunications systems experience preferred
Cisco data/voice equipment HP/Compaq Server, Desktop, and Printer experience preferred
Meditech experience preferred.
Microsoft Windows Operating Systems Two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
Required Skills
Knowledge of TCP/IP and Ethernet basics.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to define problems, collects data, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work.
Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Knowledge and proficiency of department information system and necessary applications, i.e., e-mail system, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of routers, hubs, switches and other data hardware/software equipment.
Understanding of data communications and basic telecommunications support procedures.
Willingness and understanding of completing time critical projects/tasks.
Essential Functions
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
The installation, upgrade, implementation, and maintenance of all Hewlett Packard and Cisco UCS standalone and Blade Chassis servers
EMC and Nimble Storage SAN Storage Arrays
Microsoft Windows, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and VMware vSphere physical and virtual server’s environments
Centralized configuration and deployment of Windows Active Directory group Computer/User Desktop policies
Network gateways, including Barracuda and Sophos Antivirus and SMTP/Web physical and virtual appliances
Barracuda network appliance Local and Cloud based backup of all physical and virtual servers
Company-wide Solarwind’s NPM/SIEM system and vmTurbo virtual environment monitoring, alert notification and resolution response
Promote and ensure data/network security through utilization of network configuration alert monitoring management tools.
Review network access audit logs and report possible anomalies for escalated analysis.
Maintain and update documented network security policies, procedures and standards
Mentor and assist Desktop Support Specialist with configuration, Imaging and Deployment of all Windows and HP Thinpro End-Point user systems, including HP computers, laptops, and Thin Clients
Assist the I.T. Team with the management and support for the following as requested:
* Escalation-level technical response for Help Desk support requests as requested across the FSH organization.
Microsoft Windows Server environment, including hardware and software.
Microsoft Windows and HP Thinpro Desktop environments, including hardware and software.
Data/Voice network equipment, including but not limited to switches, hubs, routers, term servers, wireless devices, firewalls.
All Network Applications, including but not limited to: ADP, Arthrex Synergy, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, ePreop, FormsFast, Imprivata SSO, Kaseya, Laserfiche, McKesson ACR, Meditech, MicroSystems SPM, Microsoft Office, Sophos Anti-Virus, TempTrak, MS SQL Server, MS Exchange Server, Web Servers, etc.
Telecommunications hardware and software support, including: internal and external (SBC, Verizon, Avaya).
All printers, both locally and network attached.
Other duties as assigned.
