Sr. Sourcing Manager

Job Overview:
The Sr. Sourcing Manager oversees all activities associated with the selection and management of suppliers, contract negotiations for direct and indirect materials, development of world class sourcing processes and policies as well as maintenance of master data in the ERP system. Accountable for KPI's related to competitive cost, timely delivery and excellent quality levels for our purchased materials and components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Accountable to generate savings year over year while driving continuous improvement. Manage all contract negotiations or renewals, report on opportunities to reduce costs and ensure execution.Initiate and lead strategic RFQs as well as total cost of ownership analysis to support supplier selection and or buy vs make decisions.Lead a team of category managers and or sourcing specialists.Develop and maintain category strategies for key commodities around automotive parts, transmission and indirect materials.Working closely with other key business segments to ensure the supply base is effectively serving internal and external customer needs.Develop and deploy KPIs reflecting areas of improvement or success, such as Purchase Price Variance, Supplier On-Time Delivery and Supplier Quality.Support life cycle management to manage phase ins and phase outs with suppliers.Participate in the companies' Sales Inventory and Operations (SIOP) process.Identify and manage supply chain risk.Actively manage supplier performance.Act as an escalation path for the buyer planners.Ensure accurate pricing, approved vendors, lot sizes and lead times in the ERP system.Develop and maintain supplier manual and supplier portal.Develop and maintain monthly supplier scorecard and quarterly business reviews for strategic suppliers.Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with shipping regulations for fluids, packaging, labeling, and other applicable requirements.Preparing and giving presentations to leadership as necessary.Provide feedback for continuous improvement ideas to Director of Supply Chain and Logistics.Understands ETE core values and leads by example.Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in supply chain or business or equivalent work experience required.At least 10 years' experience in sourcing roles in strategic and tactical supply chain operations with extensive domestic and some international presence.Proven record of successful contract negotiations and implementations.Advanced analytical skills.Knowledge and understanding of the automotive parts commodity and automotive aftermarket.Demonstrated ability to write standard operating procedures and work instructions including demonstrated process improvement and systematic process improvement skills.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.High level of professional integrity and discretion.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint and Work).
Working Conditions
This position is primarily located in our manufacturing facility. At the manufacturing facility, you will be exposed to a variety of smells and sounds associated with the manufacturing process. Eye, shoe and ear protection is required when you go on the manufacturing floor.
