This is a Part-Time (48 hours per pay period), with a 12-hour NIGHT shift, on variable days of the week including holidays and weekends.

Located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Position is eligible for a $2,000 retention bonus based off meeting eligibility requirements.

We invite you to join our highly engaged Mother/Baby team of Registered Nurses responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.

Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

QualificationsPreferred Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification/Education:

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred an accredited school of nursing.Required Experience/Specialized Skills:

1-year experience working in a Mother/Baby unit in a hospital settingMust be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.Excellent interpersonal skills.Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.Required Certification/Registration:

Current CA RN LicenseCurrent BLS-C provider from American Heart AssociationCurrent Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate (AAP 7th or 8th edition)Required Education/Course(s)/Training:

Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:
