IT Systems Engineer - SaaS Automation Description

Paradigm is a San Francisco-based investment firm focused on crypto and blockchain-related technologies across the globe. We make investments in companies and protocols at all stages including early-stage venture financing rounds, growth equity, and liquid token assets. Paradigm was co-founded in 2018 by Matt Huang (former Partner at Sequoia Capital) and Fred Ehrsam (co-founder of Coinbase). We are building a world-class team to support our portfolio and the crypto ecosystem globally.

The Role

Paradigm is looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join our team. The role spans every inch of the firm and offers the flexibility to come up with the best solution to a given problem with minimal technical debt. You'll also be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining SaaS applications and tools. This includes partnering with cross functional teams such as Finance, Compliance and Legal to assist with any application integrations and custom development.

Responsibilities :Configure, deploy, and administer SaaS system changes and administer access to systems and information within approved IT security, Compliance and Legal policies and guidelines.Develop and manage automation for SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and many others) to improve efficiency and solve repetitive tasks.Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for new automations, process refinements, and enhanced security measures.Develop and maintain security detection alerts, and create run books based on the detections.Participate in a weekly on-call rotationTroubleshoot a wide range of technical issues - both hardware and softwareQualifications:

2+ years of general IT support experience, with 5+ years of experience in planning, development, implementation, and management of enterprise SaaS applications.Proven track record of implementing process automation and integrations that scaleExperience with security and compliance auditsFamiliarity with security tooling such as IAM, SIEM, EDR, firewalls, etc..Knowledge in cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS and GCP as it relates to hosting and managing automation workflows.Experience with CI/CD pipelinesProficiency with programming/scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash, etc)Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences with customer focus.
