(Subject to change depending on if you will be traveling to a removal site or if you're stationed at the warehouse)

Job Description

Our Removal Team Box Truck Driver is responsible for traveling to off-site locations ranging from restaurants, retail stores, schools, malls, etc. At these locations you will be cataloging (lotting) products and determining its condition to be listed on our online auctioning platform. There will be days where you will not be traveling to a removal site, on these days you will be responsible for customer checkout and cataloging (lotting) product at your base warehouse. Accuracy and efficiency is the cornerstone of our success as a business. A Removal Team Box Truck Driver is one of the best ways to start out at BidFTA. This position requires somebody who has a desire to directly impact the success of a business with their work ethic and attention to detail. Driver Responsibilities Operate a hand-held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle. Complete daily trip log. Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle. May also be trained to operate a forklift to help load and unload trucks as needed. Lotting Details

Using a company provided iPad you will:

Accurately find the item online by scanning a barcode (or manually searching if no barcode is available) Determine the items condition based on a predefined criteria Take photos of the item Place an ID sticker (lot code) on the item or box Stack the item onto a pallet Scan ID Sticker (lot Code) to enter item into what we call a 'License Plate' which is just a barcode that contains all the lot code information of the pallet you are working on Lot Code audit to ensure accuracy Stretch wrap the finished goods pallet to ensure it does not fall during transportation Customer Checkout Details

Using a company provided iPad you will:

Scan the customers QR code on a mobile or a printed invoice which will pull up their bidder account and show all of their prepaid items at your location. Take a picture of the customers Identification Scan the sticker on the item that they won Follow the prompts on the iPad to finish the checkout process You will also assist in finding missing items for customers and retrieving items from our secured area that holds expensive and some smaller items. Requirements

Must be 23 years of age or older to operate company vehicles. Must have 2 years' experience operating a box truck in order to operate company vehicles. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Class C License. Current DOT physical. Valid Driver's License. Clean Driving Record. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle safely. Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points. Detail oriented Ability to work quickly and efficiently Ability to work well as part of a team Proven history of strong work ethic Willingness to learn new things Adaptability to change Technological literacy - Experience using an IOS device (iPad) is a plus but not required training will be provided. Ability to work in a warehouse environment - Non temperature-controlled environment, lifting items/boxes overhead, standing for extended periods of time, squatting, ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs or occasionally 75 pounds with assistance.
