The Transportation Driver is responsible for the timely pick-up and delivery of specimens, reports, supplies, mail and pharmaceuticals to Meriter Customers throughout Wisconsin while maintaining hazardous handling guidelines and safety guidelines. The drivers assure that all vehicles are in safe operating condition prior to beginning their shift and are responsible for routine maintenance of vehicles.
Drivers must use an above average amount of poise and tact in dealings with Customers. Customers should be able to communicate problems or concerns to the driver and be confident that the issue will be addressed by the driver or driver’s supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two + years vehicle driving experience.
Must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and have an excellent driving record.
Proficient in providing good customer service. Good working knowledge of metro Madison area.
Preferred Qualifications:
One + year truck/van driving experience.
Prior customer service experience
1+ year in medical setting.
