Position Summary
We are immediately seeking a Subject Matter Expert to join our¯motivated Advanced Capabilities and Expert Solutions (ACES)¯Division to support NAVAIR's Tomahawk program in the Patuxent River, MD area. This position is assigned to PMA-281, Strike Planning and Execution Program Office and is responsible for developing and refining Tomahawk Missile requirements while performing system and program analysis.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and advance Tomahawk Missile program requirementsTomahawk Missile system and program analysisCollaborate with developers to create software, system requirements and associated documentationParticipate in test documentation, scenario development and test tool adjustmentWork with Original Equipment Manufacturer on system integrationRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. Combination of background, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degreeMinimum 8 years of USN/USMC aircrew experience with credentials in strike planning and weapon employmentTravel (20%) required to various work sites throughout the U.S.Valid state driver licenseUS. CitizenshipCurrent and active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibilityDesired Experience/Skills
Experience with various operational squadrons, training squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellenceFamiliarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industryExcellent customer service skillsStrong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projectsWork Authorization
