Senior Tactical Systems Analyst (SCS Training)Oak Harbor, WA

Salary Range: $64.00 - $88.00 per hour DOE

Position Summary

We are immediately seeking an EA-18G Subject Matter Expert to join our motivated Advanced Capabilities and Expert Solutions (ACES) Division and support our EA-18G System Configuration Set (SCS) training team in Whidbey Island, WA.

The ACES Division supports Tactical Air's mission by delivering world class training, products, and support directly to fleet aviators. As part of ACES, the SCS team provides the latest information on aircraft software features and functionality to warfighters so they can be successful in combat. The SCS training program is dynamic and challenging, reflecting new approaches to SCS development, testing within NAVAIR, and tactical implementation.

ResponsibilitiesResearch, process, and distill complex technical material for meaningful and engaging presentation to fleet Naval AviatorsConduct professional, in-person training to large and small groups of aircrew with varied experience levelsCross-train and assist other priority efforts within ACESRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. Combination of background, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degreeMinimum of eight years as EA-18G aircrew (pilot or EWO)Familiarity and expertise with EA-18G mission planning and training systemsTravel (20%) required to various work sites throughout the U.S.Valid state driver licenseU.S. CitizenshipActive and current DoD Security Clearance with SAP eligibilityDesired Experience/Skills

Extensive operational Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) experience and graduate-level credentials in Growler employment, instruction, and/or flight test.Ability to research, process, and distill complex technical material, and subsequently present it to fleet aviators in meaningful and engaging ways.Enthusiasm and commitment to a working environment requiring intense collaboration, robust communication, and proactive coordination with various EA-18G and FA-18E/F operational squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellence.Ability to conduct professional, in-person training to groups of aircrew, with varied experience levelsStrong interpersonal skills; passion for providing excellent customer service and support to warfightersStrong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projectsFamiliarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractorsWork Authorization
