Zions Bank has just opened an opportunity for a Commercial Banking Regional Director based in the northern Utah region either in Ogden or Logan, Utah.
Ideal candidates will have these skills and experience :
Oversee individual portfolio management and provide performance and sales coaching for Relationship Managers within the region.
Demonstrated success in targeting clients and achieving results in Middle Market Commercial Banking.
Lead, direct, and coordinate sales performance for a team of Relationship Managers, fostering a strong team environment.
Direct and coordinate the region's credit operations for the business line.
Implement approved credit policies and procedures.
Drive the region's market share growth.
Lead the development and implementation of business line lending credit, production, and budget goals.
Oversee the region’s successful and profitable lending operation for business line lending.
Approve, direct, and coordinate loan activities.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures while mitigating risk within the region.
Manage all aspects of credit for the business line within the region.
Recruit, train, and develop Relationship Managers within the team.
Address and resolve business line credit issues effectively.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of commercial lending, credit analysis, credit structuring or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of commercial lending, credit analysis, credit structuring, underwriting and lending polices and procedures.
Proven experience in sales coaching with a track record of success as a sales leader and coach.
Strong organizational, management, and customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Effective communication skills with management.
Ability to influence others.
Capability to set and achieve long-term goals while maintaining high-quality work standards.
