THE POSITION
Sr Staff Test Engineer, Continental Automotive Systems, Inc., Deer Park, IL:Develop Automated Test Systems for product development, accelerated life testing and manufacturing using the latest test instruments and platforms. Create software test solutions to test wireless products. Work with engineering and manufacturing to create end to end test strategy concentrating on quality, cost and timing. Work with test instrument suppliers to maximize the use of their instruments. Conduct Measurement System Analysis for evaluating Test systems.
Telecommuting permitted up to 20% per week.
Full time employment, Monday
Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate, related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in all of the following:
Using "C", programming skills to build test scripts and test automation sequences;Designing, programming and automating 4G/5G RF Instruments, including Rhode Schwarz CMX/CMW500 and CMW100;Using Keysight Technologies EXM/UXM;Programming using NI Test Stand and Lab Windows CVI;Testing cellular and RF products (including GSM, CDMA, HSDPA, GPS, WIFI and Bluetooth);Using Qualcomm RF Software tools, including QSPR and QRCKT utilized for Flashing, Calibrating and Verifying the product;Using calibration and verification methods to align RF circuits; andConducting software loading on processors.
