The Materials Manager Role: Darkhive is seeking a Materials Manager who will be the heart of product operations. The Materials Manager will ensure materials are available to meet production schedules and customer expectations. This position will forecast material needs based on production plans and will work closely with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to maintain a seamless supply chain. Day to day responsibilities include, but not limited to: Shipping and Receiving of Products and Goods Inspect, unload, and unpack receivables Identify, pack, and label goods for shipment Inventory Management Track shipments for guaranteed timely delivery Manage all aspects of on-site inventory Procurement Identify and evaluate suppliers Negotiate supplier contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions Create, manage, and track purchase orders Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials Fulfillment Facilitate fulfillment of small on-site shipments Coordinate with logistics partner for large scale fulfillment Other relevant duties as required The Materials Manager is a hands-on role that requires an on-site presence at Darkhive headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. Core office hours are Monday-Friday 8am -5pm. This position may require occasional domestic travel. The position reports to the VP of Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain. This is not a supervisory role.
