The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and a compelling storyteller with a proven track record in leading product marketing teams and devising go-to-market strategies that drive growth. This role requires extensive experience in enterprise B2B marketing, particularly in the software as a service (SaaS) space, and a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. The VP will be responsible for crafting a strategic narrative that aligns with the organization's mission and vision, leading product launches, and providing market insights to inform product development and pricing strategy. Additionally, the role involves building strong partnerships with sales leaders to ensure effective sales enablement and driving demand generation through integrated marketing and sales campaigns. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on B2B (SaaS preferred), and a strong background in managing a portfolio of products across multiple industries. A key aspect of the role is the ability to connect with technical and business experts at all levels of the organization, and the candidate should be a collaborative leader with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. A solid track record of influencing outside their span of control and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams is essential. The VP will also be a strong people manager, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in second-line leadership, and a proven ability to mentor, hire, and develop leaders.
