As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists, you will control the manufacturing schedule for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of manufacturing deliverables. In this role, you will utilize advanced planning and scheduling platforms to understand Blue Origin's scheduling needs and coordinate manufacturing activities with the operations team to support those needs. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have great attention to detail to improve and maintain data integrity within our systems, which will then enable efficient scheduling practices to support on time delivery. You will also need to collaborate with cross-functional teams in order to problem solve and recover schedule when met with constraints. Specialists in this role are expected to regularly provide status to program teams, elevate schedule risks immediately for timely resolution, create action plans to push critical path hardware forward, and hold teams accountable to those plans. Special Mentions Relocation provided Shifts available: Shifts available: A shift Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm Interviews will include a technical assessment Responsibilities include: Coordinate the production schedule to all necessary areas of manufacturing and test Release work orders to the shop per MRP action messages and program schedule needs Ensure timely staging of raw materials and kits to appropriate areas to support on time starts Manage work orders from creation to completion, ensuring work orders stay active and blocks or holds get addressed in a timely manner Coordinate with area leads, technicians, quality, Product Based Production Control, and manufacturing engineers on a regular basis to work through nonconforming products, engineering changes, and other unplanned events Provide WIP status as needed Request and coordinate overtime or outsourcing needs with area leads as need to ensure on time delivery of hardware Track and drive shortages by coordinating with all supporting areas, such as procurement, receiving inspection, and other work centers/material planners Communicate potential schedule risks and escalate to appropriate parties as needed Provide transactional support in the accounting and manufacturing execution systems to capture as-built reconciliation, project transfers, inventory adjustments, and scrap transactions Coordinate with Material Handlers to ensure steady, timely movement of critical hardware Refine Item Master planning parameter values to ensure efficiencies throughout the manufacturing process and product lifecycles Collaborate across work centers and Production Control team as needed to resolve capacity constraints Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or scheduling environment Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and profe
