The successful candidate will be responsible for leading clinical pharmacology, PK, and PD activities in collaboration with other functions, and for building and implementing a comprehensive clinical PK/PD development strategy to support all stages of drug development. This role requires a PhD with over 10 years of progressive industry experience, with a focus on pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, or preclinical ADME studies. The VP will also be tasked with managing a team of clinical pharmacology experts, advancing PK/PD modeling and simulation approaches, and providing scientific and strategic consultation to various stakeholders. Applicants for the Vice President, Clinical Pharmacology position at the company should have a strong background in project management, be adept at building mathematical models, and possess broad translational and clinical development expertise with an emphasis on pharmacometrics. Experience in moving compounds through the clinical trials process and familiarity with regulatory guidance, particularly for drug interaction studies, is preferred.
