Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the growing oncology masters-prepared nursing practice. Responsibilities will include regulatory, safety, and performance improvement. Collaboration with other nursing professional developmental practitioners to meet the educational needs of staff to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and develop service-based education for staff regulatory and safety educational opportunities. Serve as a lead resource/mentor/leader to staff champions. Initiate projects as required, independently or for staff support, upon the direction of WCI leadership/Director of Nursing and CNO. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are critical to success in this position. 3-4 years of oncology nursing experience and certification are preferred. A master's degree as a CNL or CNS is required.
**Qualifications**
Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing.
Applicants will have 5 years experience as an RN with one to three years of leadership experience;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist influences the quality and delivery of care in various roles including consultant, researcher, mentor, and practitioner.
This role may be unit, program, or service based and is involved in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

**Pay Range**
Pay Range: $42.17 - $59.03 Hourly
_The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process._
